2025 SEASON
A huge THANK YOU goes out to everyone who helped make 2025 the best fundraising season that the Darling’s Ice Cream for a Cause truck has ever had!
In total, the Darling’s Ice Cream for a Cause Team attended 260 events across the state of Maine in 2025, raising $68,018.84 for incredible causes and charities. This amount surpasses our previous record of $64,439.69 set in 2019. Since its inception in 2012, our ice cream truck has attended approximately 3,170 events and raised over $661,000 in donations.
We are grateful to all the events that invited us to be part of their celebrations. Thank you to the coordinators for inviting us and working out the details, to the many volunteers who dedicated their time to help organize the events, and to all the charities making a difference in our communities. A special thank you also goes out to all the patrons who stopped by the ice cream truck for a cold treat and supported these fantastic causes.
We want to express our heartfelt gratitude to our small but mighty team of Darling’s Ice Cream for a Cause Ambassadors: Berniece, Jacklynn, Marley, Mello, Devon, and Gary. You all create the welcoming, fun atmosphere surrounding the ice cream truck. Wherever you go, you bring smiles, laughter, nostalgia, and warmth. We are lucky to have such a wonderful crew!
Preparations for next year have already begun. If you are planning an event that you would like the Darling’s Ice Cream for a Cause Truck to be part of, we will begin accepting requests for our 2026 season in February or March. Our 2026 season is planned to start in April and run through October 31st. Keep an eye on our website and Facebook page for updates and announcements on when we will begin accepting requests.
