Our Story<\/strong><\/span><\/h1>\n

The employees of Darling\u2019s Auto Group not only find joy in fulfilling people\u2019s automotive needs, but also by helping to strengthen the communities we live in and serve. In 2012 we came up with a very unique way of giving back to the communities we serve by building an ice cream truck. It isn\u2019t your ordinary ice cream truck either, this ice cream truck hands out free ice cream and accepts donations for different causes and charities!<\/span><\/p>\n

Our goal when we launched Darling\u2019s Ice Cream for a Cause in 2012 was simple: find a way to have some fun, do some good, and make people smile.<\/span><\/p>\n

What better way than handing out free ice cream and soliciting voluntary donations for a good cause, any cause, from large global charities, to a friend or neighbor in need?<\/span><\/p>\n

To meet this goal, we assembled our Darling\u2019s team, and through hard work and a whole lot of creative talent, we built this ice cream truck.<\/span><\/p>\n

Since 2012, we\u2019ve raised more than $660,000 for thousands of great charities and causes at events all across the state of Maine.<\/span><\/p>\n

So here\u2019s what you need to do: if you are raising funds for a local charity, cause, person, or family in need submit an event request<\/a> for a visit from our truck. If you need help, we\u2019ll be there!<\/span><\/p>\n
